WATCH: Chamber chief reflects on first year as CEO

Chamber chief executive Henrietta Brealey sat down with Future Faces vice-president Sabah Hussain to discuss her experience during the first year of her post as CEO.

Speaking on Sabah 's own YouTube channel SABAHx Talks, Henrietta talked about the challenges she has faced since being appointed to the role of chief executive at Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce and spoke about how she remains future focused while responding to current events.

She also shared a message with the people and businesses of Greater Birmingham on staying resilient through uncertainty.

Sabah Hussain said: “I loved exploring Henrietta 's openness on what she 's learnt about herself, how it 's okay to feel uncomfortable at the beginning of a new challenge and her encouragement to all of just to give things a go, even if we 're unsure! ”

“Feel encouraged, you can learn and you can develop, you can really flourish as an individual at any point in your life. Having that confidence to just go 'yeh go on, I 'll give it a go, I 'll get stuck in ' can really take you a long way ”
