WATCH: Supporting SMEs in their digital transformation

An event hosted by the Burton Chamber of Commerce has taken steps to equip businesses with the essential digital skills needed for growth.

Despite the need for digital to play an essential role in every business, in every job role, only 1 in 10 businesses have taken action to address the widening skills gap that a fifth of businesses in Staffordshire have reported.

The 'Evolving Enterprise Through #DoDigital' event discussed the importance of digital transformation to an SME and learn from the Growth Hub about how they can support you through that journey.

Joining attendees was Mo Esat (pictured) from Dains Accountants who elaborated on their newest 'arm ' to the business, 'Evolve ', for an introduction to cloud accounting, real time forecasting and developing KPI 's, metrics and dashboards for businesses.

Mo is a Director and Head of the Cloud Accounting Team at Dains LLP and works with growing, ambitious and entrepreneurial businesses, providing all levels of support from management accounts, forecasting and budgeting to strategic advisory support, assisting with crucial insights on the financial performance and position with advice to help the business achieve its ambitions.
