We Love Lichfield Fund open for applications

The We Love Lichfield Fund has opened for applications from now until Sunday 30 April.

The fund provides small grants of up to £1,000 for Lichfield District organisations whose work supports the local community.

Simon Fletcher, chief executive at Lichfield District Council, said: “The We Love Lichfield organisation and fund provides a fantastic boost to local community groups whose projects bring so much to the district. We encourage eligible community and voluntary groups to apply and make the most of this opportunity. ”

To make a successful application, a project needs to:

• Provide a service for the local area, or for local residents
• Improve the lives of local people
• Be providing a service or facility that would otherwise not be available
