Web agency looks to drive businesses into the fast lane

A Birmingham web design agency whose leadership team includes an ex-Formula 1 team owner is looking to drive business forward after becoming members of the Chamber’s 1813 Club.

ALT Agency, based in Brindleyplace, boasts more than 26 years of expertise in web design, SEO and digital strategy. 

The firm was founded by Craig Murphy, while former motorsport chief John Byfield is a non-executive director.

ALT has also won several accolades – which include being featured in a global list of top-rated WordPress development companies for 2025.

Managing director Craig says: “It’s been quite the journey - from building one-page websites back in 1999 to creating advanced booking systems for the NHS.

“As ALT continues to grow, we’ve made some key strategic appointments - from welcoming John Byfield as director to building out our business development and sales teams, and expanding our services to include paid media.
