Webinar to aid business Clean Air Zone preparations

A webinar designed to run businesses through any last-minute preparations they need to undertake ahead of the launch of Birmingham 's Clean Air Zone is taking place tomorrow.

As part of its ongoing engagement programme with Birmingham City Council, Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce will be joined by Councillor Waseem Zaffar (pictured), cabinet member for Transport and Environment.

The free-to-attend webinar will inform businesses about upcoming changes and last-minute checks they can make ahead of he zone 's launch on 1 June.

It will also outline the support available for firms.

Mike Baker, head of business development (North West England) for Enterprise Holdings, will also take part in the discussion. businesses can get ready for the Clean Air Zone.

Raj Kandola, head of policy at the Chamber, said: “With less than two weeks to go until the Birmingham Clean Air Zone goes live, it 's essential that businesses have taken the necessary steps to ready themselves for 1 June.

“There 's still time for businesses to access support and funding if they are likely to be affected by the start of the Zone and this webinar will set out how firms can get the help they need.

“It 's also great that we will be joined by Mike Baker from Enterprise as he will share tips and advice on the practical solutions businesses can put in place to minimise disruption amongst their staff and networks. ”
