Webinar to equip firms with bid writing expertise

Businesses can learn from a bid writing expert during an online event, being hosted as part of a Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce (GBCC) campaign, being hosted in June.

The 'Introduction to Bid Writing and Winning Work ' event is part of the five-week Festival of Business campaign, organised by GBCC, and will be hosted by the Burton and Cannock Chase Chambers of Commerce.

The series is also supported by headline sponsors Aston University.

Attendees will be joined by Charles Grosstephan (pictured), head of bid and tender training at Thornton & Lowe, formed in 2009 to support organisations with tender writing and bid management services.

Charles heads up the training & apprenticeship division at Thornton & Lowe and has delivered over 240 bid training courses to over 3000 people, as well as running a number of one to one workshop sessions.

During the event, he will discuss the basics of bid writing, language and style, planning and win themes.

The event will take place on 15 June at 10am and is free for all members and non-members to attend.
