Webinar to walk firms through automating manual tasks

Managed IT services provider, EBC Group, will be walking businesses through how to automate manual and routine work tasks, during an upcoming webinar.

The business, based in Halesowen, will be hosting its Robotic Process Automation (RPA) for SMEs webinar on 28 January from 10am.

The EBC Group say that RPA is a low cost, easy to implement software that can automate manual and routine tasks, saving time and costs and improving accuracy.

Much like human interaction, RPA mimics keystrokes and mouse clicks made by employees.

However, unlike humans, RPA does not require a physical screen and works in a virtual environment to complete tasks.

RPA softwares can be installed in days, and can cost under £400 per month, according to EBC Group.

A panel of technology experts, including digital transformation consultant Alan Jones (pictured), will offer expert advice on what the process entails.
