Diverse Supply Chains is seeking more diverse SMEs across the Greater Birmingham and Solihull Local Enterprise Partnership area to benefit from free business support.

After delivering a successful second workshop series in the summer, the organisation is calling on mroe firms to register their interest in their workshops which help diverse businesses enter supply chains.

A number of SMEs from the first and second cohorts have won bids and contracts following their attendance at the workshops.

Diverse Supply Chains is now looking forward to supporting some of the many outstanding SMEs across the region in its next cohort from November 2021 through to March 2022.

The cohort will have exclusive access to funding of £2,500 (limited number of grants available).

Kavita Jeerh (pictured), project manager, said: "After delivering two very successful cohorts of the Diverse Supply Chains workshop programme, we are now recruiting for our final cohort.

"The workshop programme has enabled several diverse SMEs to win tenders and the grant has supported SME 's to become more attuned with procurement processes and has improved their tendering capabilities."

The deadline for applications is today (Friday 29 October). The first workshop will be delivered on Wednesday 10 November.
