Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce (GBCC) Quarterly Business Report survey for Q4 has launched - with each participant having a chance to win a weekend stay for two at VOCO St Johns Hotel, Solihull.

The report, sponsored by Birmingham City University, is the most comprehensive regular report of its kind in the city region, offering an up-to-date snapshot of the performance of the Greater Birmingham business community.

Survey data will be collated at a national level and will feed into policy and lobbying activity for both GBCC and the British Chambers of Commerce, reaching institutions such as the Government and the Bank of England.

On average, the survey takes around five minutes to complete

Each participant can enter a prize draw, with the chance to win an overnight weekend stay including breakfast for two at VOCO St Johns Hotel, Solihull (terms and conditions apply).

Paige Bowyer, policy and research analyst at the GBCC, said: “The results from our Q3 Quarterly Business Report underline the continued impact of domestic and international developments on the local business community.

“Businesses across our region remain resilient, but many are still feeling the effects of ongoing cost pressures, influencing confidence and investment decisions.

“Despite this, firms are working hard to adapt, maintain stability and plan for the months ahead.

“Capturing the experiences of local businesses is essential to ensuring that policy decision making reflects the realities on the ground.

“The findings from this survey will be shared directly with local and regional stakeholders, as well as Government, the Treasury and the Bank of England.

“By taking part, businesses of all sectors and sizes can help us accurately represent the views of the Greater Birmingham business community, and advocate on their behalf.”
