Welcome to the ABCC newsletter
Hello and welcome to the February edition of the Asian Business Chamber of Commerce (ABCC) newsletter.
We are really looking forward to welcoming you to our 10th annual event celebrating International Women's Day.
The International Women's Day (IWD) is celebrated on March 8 every year. The day aimed to help nations worldwide eliminate discrimination against women. It also focused on helping women gain full and equal participation in global development. Hundreds and thousands of events are held worldwide to recognise the progress that has been made by women; and to celebrate their achievements.
Every celebration of this event should be supported and endorsed! And whilst the ABCC may well be the pioneers and the trailblazers of IWD celebrations in the region, there 's room for all.

Also this year we're once again supporting the Asian Woman Festival taking place on 20 March.
At Asian Woman Festival, they 're in the job of empowering South Asian women and underrepresented genders to be activists of their own future. They do this through using culture, conversation and art to smash stereotypes and stigmas South Asian women and underrepresented genders are often judged by.
Everyone is welcome to attend, you don't have to identify as a woman or South Asian to attend. They encourage our allies to listen, watch, and deepen your understanding through their festival and content. For further details an to book click here
