Rugeley based IT support firm, TechCare, has sponsored a new under-fives football team in South Wales.

The Cardiff-based team, AFC Rhoose, is coached by former TechCare employee, James Huxtable.

After recognising the opportunity to get little ones involved with the sport before joining the older team after their fifth birthday, James contacted TechCare managing director Karl Frankham to ask if the company would like to be involved.

"Karl agreed to the sponsorship straight away," said James. "All Karl did was ask how much we needed, and we just went from there!"

The sponsorship has enabled the team to buy the kit and equipment they needed to get started and get little ones involved with football again after lockdown.

"TechCare's sponsorship has made a huge difference to the club and the kids", James added.

"It meant we could start training straight away (before lockdown), and as we're not a big club, we simply have to rely on sponsorships and support from businesses to keep going. We really appreciate TechCare's help."

As well as being passionate about helping the community, both close to home and further afield, TechCare's purpose is to utilise technology to help its clients' businesses succeed.

Crowned as Cannock Chase Small Business of the Year at the Sutton Coldfield, Lichfield & Tamworth and Cannock Chase 2021 annual awards (SLTC), TechCare is dedicated to providing support to businesses looking to thrive in today's modern, tech-led world.

Providing additional support to in-house IT departments, or a fully-managed service from an outsourced partner, TechCare works alongside its clients to achieve business objectives through the strategic use of technology.
