Winter Awareness Walk to raise money and community spirit

Solihull Moors have announced their 'Winter Awareness Walk ' which aims to raise money for the thousands of families who have had to flee their homes and seek asylum in the UK.

The club has chosen the fixture against Aldershot on Saturday 10 December as the day to encourage supporters to walk to the match.

The walk will begin at Mell Square in Solihull Town Centre at 12pm and end at the ARMCO Arena - a total of 2.3 miles.

Solihull Moors Foundation CEO Becci Fox and many other members of staff will be taking part in the walk along with directors & sponsors.

CEO Becci Fox (pictured) said: "This walk is a fantastic way for us to celebrate our diverse community and raise awareness of all the causes we have supported this year.

“Our aim is that the walk this year will help build friendships and that everyone involved will get a feel-good factor and experience all the positives of another way to be a community."
