Solihull technology firm Wise has agreed to become Solihull Moors Women 's official front of shirt sponsor - as the team look to make history this weekend.

Moors Women travel to Coventry Sphinx in the Vitality Women 's FA Cup Second Round on Sunday with dreams of making it into the Third Round.

It is already the furthest that Moors Women have gone in the competition.

Wise specialises in creating software to improve the entire self-employment experience with the platform used by over 250 delivery firms across the UK.

The fast-growing firm has scaled up massively since it was founded back in 2019 and now employs over 65 tech experts from its Solihull base, whilst reflecting the Moors ' mantra of forever looking for the next challenge.

And it 's fair to say that Moors ' Women are certainly rising to the challenge this season.

Tom Blaymires ' side have reached the Second Round in emphatic style, first seeing off Arnold Eagles 7-0 at home and then Sedgley & Gornal United 5-0 away.

They 're also going well in the league campaign having lost only once in their opening seven games, winning four and currently sit fourth in National League Midlands Division One with games in hand on those above them.

Dan Richards, chief commercial officer at Wise, said: “We 're delighted to not only continue but to expand our partnership with Solihull Moors, with extra support for their excellent Women 's side.

“After the historic success of Serina Wiegman 's Lionesses, it is such an exciting time for Women 's sports in England and so we 're proud that Wise can support this within our local community.

“We wish Mark and the team all the best on Sunday in a chance to make more history, I 'm sure they 'll do us all proud once again. ”

Bradley Rice, Solihull Moors head of commercial, said: “We are thrilled to announce that our partnership with Wise has now expanded to the Women 's team.

“I can 't thank Dan enough for his willingness in showing support to both the club and the Moors community.

“To have a company so forward thinking as Wise, get behind the Women 's team is a huge positive and I am excited to see our partnership go to another level.

“Women 's football is on a massive high right now and everyone at Moors is determined to give our women 's side the backing needed to succeed. ”
