Women Entrepreneurs Pitch Competition returns with launch event
The Women Entrepreneurs Pitch Competition returns for 2026 with a launch event celebrating past participants and highlighting their entrepreneurial journeys.
Organised by Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce in partnership with NatWest and the British Business Bank, ‘Empower to Elevate’ will take place on Tuesday 17 March at the NatWest Accelerator from 10am to 1.30 pm.
It will recognise the importance and impact of female entrepreneurship across the West Midlands and honour those who continue to champion female founders and support systems within the region.
The event will also celebrate International Women’s Day with this year’s theme being Give to Gain.
The annual Women Entrepreneurs Pitch Competition aims to promote high potential women-led businesses in the region and create a platform for women entrepreneurs to build their investor networks, hone their pitching skills and develop their knowledge of how to attract investment.
Applications to take part in this year’s event will open in summer 2026. The ‘Dragons Den’ style final of the competition will take place on 11 November.
Harinder Kunor from NatWest said: “We are proud to host this inspiring International Women’s Day event, which celebrates the incredible achievements of women in business and innovation.
“It’s a fantastic opportunity to connect, learn, and empower one another to break barriers and drive positive change.
“We encourage everyone to join us in recognising the power of diversity and inclusion as key drivers of success.”
