Work life balance spotlighted at next Future Faces event
Future Faces have announced the details of their next Personal Development event, focusing on work life balance.
Sponsored and hosted by Shakespeare Martineau, the event will take place on Thursday, 20 November from 5:30pm to 7:30pm.
Will Crawford, vice-president of the Future Faces committee and founder of quietnote, is holding the event as part of the Future Faces personal development series.
Will said: “The next event in our “we’re talking all about...” personal development series is “we’re talking all about work life balance.” This is probably one of the most used phrases by people in the workplace who are conscious about balancing their working life with their personal life. So, we’re wanting to offer you practical tips, honest conversations and an opportunity to ask genuine questions without the worry of sounding unprofessional.
“As a young professional, finding that balance is incredibly difficult, you’re wanting to invest time into your career, your personal life, your relationships, and somehow find time for yourself as well. This event is here to help you find and understand that balance.”
Attendees will hear from speakers Mark Tonks (pictured) (founder of Orange and Blue UK), Abbey Ricketts (partner at Adams Moore) and Justine Ball (partner at Shakespeare Martineau Ltd).
Mark Tonks said: “I am looking forward to sharing some insights into the whole work life balance question. It might surprise a few people about how to get started with addressing this particular challenge.
“What we do know is currently overwhelm, stress and anxiety all contribute to reduced motivation, productivity and performance. Nobody benefits from this situation, but there is a way!”
The event is open to Future Faces members only. Find more information and book your place HERE.
