YMCA Burton announces inaugural charity golf day

Golf day

YMCA Burton has announced its first-ever Charity Golf Day, set to take place on Wednesday, 22 July at the Branston Golf & Country Club.

The event promises a full day of enjoyable competition and community spirit, beginning with a breakfast reception before participants head out onto the course.

Golfers will have the opportunity to test their skills with a range of exciting on-course challenges led by Ady Wheatcroft of Ace Golf Challenge.

Following the round, guests will return to the clubhouse to enjoy a hot meal, networking opportunities, and a presentation ceremony to celebrate the day’s achievements.

YMCA Burton’s fundraising and partnerships manager, Paula Senior, said: “This is our first year organising a Charity Golf Day, and we are excited to host an event that brings together golfers, supporters, and the community.

“We look forward to a day of great golf and in the wonderful surroundings of Branston Golf club while raising valuable funds for our vital services.

“This promises to be a superb event with the opportunity to network, bring clients and customers together or some team building out on the golf course. We hope you will be able to support us”.

The Charity Golf Day is open to all, with both team and single-player entry options available, making it an inclusive event for golfers of all abilities.

In addition to taking part, individuals and businesses are invited to support the event through hole sponsorship or by donating prizes.
