Young people 's charity welcomes new patron
EmployabilityUK have announced that its chief youth officer Jack Parsons become an official patron of the charity.
The organisation is known for providing dedicated support to young people as they prepare to embark upon careers in a variety of sectors.
Jack (pictured), an entrepreneur and public speaker, works with EmployabilityUK in a philanthropic capacity to ensure that the needs of young people seeking employment and training are met.
He said: “It 's a real privilege to be welcomed as a Patron of EmployabilityUK. I 've been so impressed by the outstanding work that EmployabilityUK has done, working with businesses to provide hope, skills and opportunity to so many people, and playing a role in the Government 's Kickstart scheme to help young people build their showcase and start their career with capes. ”
Since 2014, EmployabilityUK has become one of the UK 's leading employability skills charities, promoting the need to fill the skills gap among young people while also delivering training and opportunities in line with those targets.
Keith Fraser, chair of trustees at EmployabilityUK, extended his welcome to Jack by saying: “I am absolutely delighted that Jack Parsons has agreed to join the team as a patron for EmployabilityUK. He is a passionate and influential champion for young people. I 'm really excited about seeing what we can achieve together. ”
EmployabilityUK chief executive, Diane Vernon, also added: “From the first time I spoke to Jack, I was massively impressed by how closely our vision for the future of young people heading into employment aligned.
His tireless work in the sector has caught the eye of many, and we are delighted that he is willing to join us in our work towards the same goals. ”
