Young professionals gather for Future Faces vision board event at Arup
Young Professionals from across the region gathered for an engaging Future Faces vision board event.
The event held at Arup in the city centre was designed to encourage personal growth, confidence and long-term planning.
Attended by representatives from a range of sectors, the evening provided a space for participants to reflect on their professional goals, visualise future success and connect with like-minded peers.
Rebecca Horley, overall winner of the Greater Birmingham Professional of the Year Awards last year, hosted the event and spoke about how making vision boards had made her feel more confident in her successes.
The attendees were guided through activities and were given the chance to create their own vision boards which reflected their own personal goals.
Tracey Obiakor (pictured), 23, a corporate trainee solicitor at Lodders solicitors who attended the event, said: “I came to the vision board event because I thought it would be a good way to start the New Year.
“I had never made a vision board before, so I thought what’s the harm in trying.
“I have put a lot of things on the vision board regarding my career such as being braver at work, taking more initiative and believing in myself.
“This is the first future faces event I have been too and hopefully there will be many more.”
