Applications to join Chamber committee now open
The application process is underway to join the executive committee of the Sutton Coldfield Chamber of Commerce.
Business figures from the Royal Town can now apply to join the committee which plays a part in promoting the Chamber as well as supporting its activities.
The deadline for applications is Friday 12 August.
New committee members will be confirmed at the Chamber 's annual general meeting at The Townhouse in Sutton Coldfield on Thursday 8 September.
Phil Arkinstall (pictured), president of the Sutton Coldfield Chamber, said: “Sutton Coldfield Chamber of Commerce has been going from strength to strength through the last year and we are looking forward to our AGM on 8 September.
“We are very keen to bring new committee members in to help shape the next year of the Chamber so if you're interested in joining us then please reach out.
“The Sutton Chamber has been successful in the last two years at helping our members with both online and in-person events as well as offering business support and guidance to those who need it.
“We 've also actively supported the next generation of Sutton Coldfield through a series of workshops and work experience.
“Finally from a charity point of view we 've raised a significant amount of money for our previous charity the Sutton Coldfield YMCA and are now working closely with our new charity of the year the UK Sepsis Trust. ”
