With Mental Health Awareness Week (11 to 17 May) just days away, a Lichfield leadership and wellbeing coach is encouraging employers to take meaningful action on workplace mental health.

Nicola Forsyth (pictured), founder of Nicola Kathryn Coaching, is supporting organisations across the region - including sports associations, law firms and school trusts - through practical workshops designed to help leaders and teams manage pressure, prevent burnout and improve performance.

Nicola says that with almost 15 million working days lost in the UK a year due to stress, depression and anxiety, the need for action has never been more urgent.

She said: "Mental Health Awareness Week is almost here and while more workplaces are recognising that mental health provision is more than a dedicated week, it is a timely reminder to move beyond awareness and into action.

“How people feel and how they’re treated directly impacts how they perform.

“When disengagement and stress go unmanaged, it shows up in decision-making, relationships, retention - and eventually the bottom line.”

With Mental Health Awareness Week beginning on Monday 11 May, Nicola is encouraging businesses to get in touch to secure one of her last remaining spaces.

Workshops are tailored to the needs of the organisation but generally cover ‘performing under pressure’, ‘burnout prevention’, ‘building confidence and self-belief’ and ‘leadership mindset', and can be delivered in-person or online.

She also delivers evidence-based breathwork sessions to support nervous system regulation, focus and stress management - having recently hosted a session for TEDx Tamworth - alongside one-to-one and group coaching and psychometric profiling.

With spaces limited, organisations are encouraged to contact Nicola directly to discuss availability.
