Chamber launches dedicated portal for global members
	
Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce (GBCC) has launched the Global Members Portal, a new digital platform designed to support members in navigating the world of international trade.
The portal offers tailored support for members who are ready to export and helps explore new territories and previously traded markets.
This new resource also brings together content and insights from the Global Brunches series, which have explored key themes around doing global business.
These include harnessing technology, embracing cultural understanding, building meaningful connections, leveraging the power of partnerships, and championing sustainability and global leadership.
In addition to thought leadership and expert perspectives, the portal provides practical tools to help members take action.
It features a growing collection of case studies showcasing how other members have successfully traded in global markets, along with curated resources, such as analysis of trade barriers and opportunities, as well as links to support your journey.
The Portal also builds on the Global Growth Report 2025 – research conducted by GBCC - which examines international trade in the West Midlands.
The evidence shows that goods and services exports from the West Midlands are growing and there are opportunities in all global markets for businesses who want to export.
For example, West Midlands goods exports grew by 32 per cent nominally between 2021 and 2025, higher than the UK average of 24 per cent.
