Chambers to host webinar on Staffordshire business funding
A trio of Chambers are joining forces to jointly host a webinar on funding and grants available to firms across Staffordshire.
Burton and District Chamber, Cannock Chase Chamber and Lichfield & Tamworth Chamber will be hosting the virtual event on 27 April, whereby leaders at Staffordshire County Council will guide firms through a variety of grants on offer linked to the £5million Staffordshire Means Back to Business Fund.
Antony Baines, assistant director for Skills & Employability, and Anthony Hodge (pictured), assistant director for Business & Enterprise, Economy, Infrastructure & Skills at Staffordshire County Council will give a broad summary of the various grants available.
Suzanne Quinn of Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire Skills Hub and Rebecca Parker of Stoke-On-Trent & Staffordshire Growth Hub will go through in more detail the areas of funding available.
There are a wide range of grants available via the Business Fund, including:
- Small Business to Thrive Financial Support
- Start Up Scheme and Loans
- Staffordshire 500 to support businesses to develop apprenticeship opportunities
- Free Training Top Up for Employers
- Ignite Top Up Scheme with additional support to students to take their first steps in their own business
The event is free to attend for members and non-members of the Chamber.
