Judging panel announced for Solihull Awards

The judging panel for the Solihull Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner & Awards 2022 has been announced.

The five panellists include:

• Helen Bates, chief financial officer, Greater Birmingham Chambers of Commerce
• Steve Hewitt, executive chair, Gymshark
• James Tait, partner, Browne Jacobson
• Harriet Saunders, fund executive, The FSE Group
• Dr Beverly Lindsay OBE, OD, DL, owner, Diamond Travel

Helen Bates, chair of this year 's panel said: “The panel and I are so excited to be chosen to judge this year 's nominations for the Solihull Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner & Awards.

“I am joined by a superb panel of experts whose knowledge, experience and expertise span across a huge variety of sectors and industries.

"I am in no doubt that the nominations this year will exceed our expectations as we showcase the best talent the borough has to offer.

“As the chair of this year 's awards, I feel very grateful to be able to join Steve, James, Harriet and Beverly as we look to begin the shortlisting process and I 'd encourage individuals to get their applications in as soon as possible as the closing date for nominations gets closer. ”

This year 's awards will take place at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole hotel on Friday 7 October from 6pm onwards.

The event will welcome over 500 attendees at the flagship hotel as well as several high-profile guests.

There are 10 category awards up for grabs on the evening. And the closing date for award entries is Friday 5 August.

One business will also be crowned Solihull Business of the Year.
