Showbiz presenter to host awards

The compere for the Solihull Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner and Awards 2022 has been announced.

Sam Mann (pictured), an experienced TV and radio presenter, producer and writer, will lead the awards taking place on Friday 7 October at the Hilton Birmingham Metropole.

Sam has worked with some of the biggest names in business throughout her career, working as showbiz editor at Capital Radio, showbiz presenter for ITV's This Morning, Daybreak and E! News. She has also reported from live events such as: the Oscars, the Brits, the BAFTAS and London Fashion Week.

Alongside this, Sam has been a regular showbiz columnist for The Mirror, contributing editor to Cosmo Magazine and written for many other lifestyle magazines.

Sam Frampton, head of Solihull Chamber of Commerce, said: “We are thrilled to announce Sam as our host for this year 's awards.

“Sam has an abundance of experience in all things showbiz, and I 'm confident that she will fill this role perfectly during the evening. ”

The Solihull Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner and Awards 2022 is expected to welcome over 500 attendees this year and there are 10 category awards up for grabs on the evening.

One business will also be crowned Solihull Business of the Year.
