Solihull is set to hit all the right notes later this month with the Solihull Music Festival returning, offering three days of free, family-friendly live music.

This year’s festival happening from 19 to 21 June at the town centre is organised by Solihull Business Improvement District (BID).

The festival is set to be bigger than ever, with two pop up stages on the High Street, one located near Metro Bank and a second towards The Mason’s Arms, bringing music directly to the heart of the town centre.

Audiences can enjoy an eclectic programme featuring 34 performances spanning pop through the decades, rock, indie, opera, piano, musical theatre, choirs, and a silent disco.

Beyond the music, visitors can expect a vibrant festival atmosphere complete with a Continental Street Food Market from RR Events, children’s musical activities, and vintage bus rides provided by Transport Museum Wythall.

Melanie Palmer, chief executive of Solihull BID, said: “Solihull Music Festival is a highlight of the region’s summer calendar and a true celebration of live music in our town.

“We’re thrilled to be expanding the festival this year with more entertainment taking place across the whole of the town centre, ensuring everybody gets to experience our amazing Festival atmosphere.

“We can’t wait to see the town centre come alive with music and thousands of visitors.”

The festival is free to attend and easily accessible via public transport or by car, utilising one of the many town centre car parks.
