The Royal Sutton Coldfield Chamber of Commerce has announced its Annual General Meeting (AGM), where nominations are now open for six executive committee slots.

It will take place at Sutton United Football club on Wednesday, 15 July from 12pm to 2pm.

Applicants must be members of the Royal Sutton Coldfield Chamber of Commerce, and have an interest in this voluntary role, helping to advocate for the Chamber and represent the interests of local businesses across the region.

Nominees should complete the application form via the Chamber website.

All applications must be supported by an existing Royal Sutton Coldfield Chamber member, and they will be reviewed by the Head of Royal Sutton Coldfield Chamber, Charlie Elliott.

Executive committee members serve a two-year term, after which they can reapply to remain on the committee.

Applications close at 11:59pm on Wednesday, 3 June and successful applicants will be informed on week commencing 15 June.

Nominations are also open for Royal Sutton Coldfield Chamber Charity of the Year.

Every two years, the Chamber selects a charity to support through its fundraising activity while also helping to raise awareness of the vital work it delivers within the local community and wider business network.

Applications are open to both Chamber members and non-members.

Registered charities can directly apply through the website.

Members also can nominate a charity.

Nominated charities must complete the full application form to progress to the next stage of the selection process before 11.59pm on Wednesday, 3 June.
