Three charities have been shortlisted to become Lichfield and Tamworth Chamber of Commerce’s next charity partner.

The shortlisted charities are Grace Cares, Staffordshire Pathway and Heart of Tamworth Community Project.

The final three will now have the opportunity to pitch to Chamber members at a charity selection event on 9 April at the Drayton Manor Hotel.

Following the presentations, Chamber members will cast their votes to select the next chosen charity.

The winner will succeed Tamworth-based Number Eight who were the Chamber’s charity partner for the past two years.

Fiona Rouse, president of Lichfield and Tamworth Chamber, said: “We are really excited for our Breakfast event on 9 April where we will hear pitches from our three shortlisted, local charities who are all doing amazing work in the Lichfield and Tamworth area.

“We have really enjoyed working with Number Eight, and I know they have gained both financial and time donations during the two years, enabling them to continue to support young parents and their babies.

“Good luck to all three charities and I look forward to welcoming as many of our GBCC members to our breakfast event.”
