Warwickshire County Cricket Club’s have announced several initiatives to bring a new audience to the game and celebrate the players and people at the heart of the club.

Taking place from Friday 15 May to Monday 18 May, the Bears will be looking to continue their fine start to the 2026 campaign on the field, when they take on Glamorgan in the Rothesay County Championship fixture.

The table-topping Bears are looking to continue their early-season momentum – and will be buoyed on Friday 15 May by over 1,000 children in the stands.

As part of schools day, over 1,000 tickets have been distributed to school groups in the surrounding area to Edgbaston, as the Bears look to inspire the next generation of fans and cricketers.

Former Players Day takes place on Saturday 16 May, with three legends of the club having already confirmed their attendance and more set to join on the day.

Dennis Amiss, who spent his entire 27-year career with Warwickshire and is the Club’s leading first class run scorer with 46,218 runs in 919 first-team games, will be joined by Geoff Humpage, who fired 24,317 runs including 32 centuries across a remarkable 26-year career, and Asif Din, who amassed 14,873 runs for Warwickshire in 460 outings.

On the same day, there will also be free ticket entry for all as part of the county cricket day initiative.

Day three will belong to long-standing members, with member recognition day emphasising the importance of those who have backed the Bears for a prolonged period of time.

Members attached to Warwickshire for 50 years will be invited to a lunch and receive a coveted badge as part of the recognition scheme.

On the final day of action at Edgbaston, Monday 18 May, free tickets will be available for all fans that want to come along to support the Bears.
