T150 Energy has launched a new solar initiative designed to help businesses, charities, schools, care providers and community organisations explore the benefits of solar energy through fully funded installation opportunities.

With energy costs remaining a significant concern for many organisations, solar has become an increasingly attractive option.

However, the upfront capital investment required to install a system has often prevented organisations from moving forward.

Through the new solar initiative, T150 Energy is working with specialist funding and installation partners to help eligible organisations access solar energy without the need for significant upfront investment.

Matthew Small (pictured), director of T150 Energy, said: "Many organisations are interested in solar but assume the upfront costs make it unaffordable.

“This initiative is about helping organisations understand whether they could benefit from a fully funded solution and what that could mean for their long-term energy costs and sustainability goals."

The initiative is open to organisations across a range of sectors, including commercial businesses, charities, education providers, care organisations and community facilities.

The process begins with a review of a recent electricity bill and basic site information to determine whether a site may be suitable for further assessment.

Not every building will qualify, but for eligible organisations the opportunity could provide access to renewable energy generation without the traditional financial barriers associated with solar projects.

T150 Energy is now inviting organisations interested in exploring the opportunity to get in touch for an initial assessment.
