Norton Insurance Brokers have announced the launch of its Survey of the Year 2026 - a nationwide initiative designed to capture the views and experiences of UK households on the subject of insurance.

The survey is open to all UK residents, regardless of whether they are existing Norton customers, and is available on any device.

Norton is an independent broker specialising in home, car, travel, landlord and contents insurance across the UK.

Participants who complete the survey in full will be entered into a prize draw, with two respondents each winning £100, posted directly to their address after the survey closes on Sunday 10 May 2026.

The survey covers seven key areas relevant to most UK households including home and buildings insurance, landlord and additional property cover, car insurance and vehicle security, contents, valuables and collections, travel insurance and medical conditions, personal Client Manager (PCM) services, and general attitudes towards insurance and claims.

Questions are tailored to each respondent’s circumstances, meaning participants will only be asked what is relevant to them. The survey takes less than ten minutes to complete.

Every completed survey earns an automatic entry into the prize draw. Two winners will each receive £100, posted to their registered address after the survey closes. No purchase is necessary, and the draw is completely random.

Norton Insurance Brokers will publish the full results of the survey following its closure, offering participants and the wider public a unique insight into UK attitudes towards insurance cover, claims and the broker relationship.

Mark Wilkinson (pictured), managing director of Norton Insurance Brokers, said: “Insurance is one of the most important financial decisions a household makes, yet it's often the last thing people think about until something goes wrong.

“This survey is our way of changing that conversation by listening first.

“We want to understand what people across the UK really think about their cover, where the gaps are, and what the industry could do better.

“The insights we gather will shape the advice and products we offer, and we'll be sharing the results openly with the public.’

Complete the survey.
