No overall control for Tamworth council after Reform make election gains
No single party has overall control of Tamworth Borough Council after Labour lost its majority in the local election.
Reform won all nine available seats in last Thursday’s vote, meaning they now have 10 councillors.
Labour remain the largest party with 14 seats but have lost overall control.
The Conservative party, who controlled Tamworth for much of the 20th century, failed to win a single seat and now only has three councillors on the borough council.
The Green Party have one seat and there is one Independent councillor.
The elected councillors are:

Peter Utting (Reform UK) – Belgrave
Dylan Powis (Reform UK) – Bolehall
Allan Copsey (Reform UK) – Castle
Mark Abley (Reform UK) – Glascote
Nick Thompson (Reform UK) – Mercian
William Smith (Reform UK) – Spital
Paul Turner (Reform UK) – Stonydelph
Bernard Skeen (Reform UK) – Trinity
